d, 1/2 the height of your face:
light goes from your chin to the mirror then to your eye. When it reaches the mirror, it has come half way up toward your eye regardless of how far away you stand. The same is true for light coming from your forehead down. The result is that you need a mirror half the height of the part of yourself you're looking at.
