 whats up with all the Kool-Aid remarks and Obama? I mean, just because he's HALF black doesn't mean he drinks Kool-Aid. So why tell his supporters to stop drinking from the Kool-Aid? What's next? Telling his supporters to" "Take that skin off that fried chicken? OR: "pick the seeds off that watermelon?" Or is it simply a remark stemmed from Bill O'riley? Actually, Kool-Aid has nothing to do with him being half-black - althought people often wrongly assume that. The "drinking the Kool-Aid" refers to Jim Jones of the 1970s and the Jonestown Massacre. Jim Jones was a "preacher" whose followers believed everything he said, despite opposition from the other side with proof and evidence Jones was lying. When Jim Jones was about to be apprehended, he had his followers "drink the Kool-Aid" (it wasn't really Kool-Aid, but a local version thereof)...that was laced with cyanide and, in the end, resulted in a mass suicide of about 900 people.
